Kitsap Salmon Tours – Kickoff Celebration

Celebrate the kickoff of salmon returning to Kitsap streams with FREE salmon tours! Face masks are strongly encouraged for all.

Chico Salmon Park


Address: 3121 Chico Way NW, Bremerton
This 4.5-acre Kitsap County park is located in the lower reaches of the Chico Creek watershed. This unique area supports natural populations of native salmonids including chum, coho, steelhead, and cutthroat trout.

Jarstad Park
Address: 4230 West Belfair Valley Road, Bremerton
This 4.5-acre Kitsap County park is located in the upper reaches of the Gorst Creek watershed. Restoration projects in the area have improved salmon habitat and the ecosystem as a whole.

Keta Legacy Foundation Rhododendron Preserve
Address: 2401 Seabeck Highway, Bremerton
This 426-acre preserve is located on the Chico Creek watershed near the Lost Creek tributary.

Poulsbo’s Fish Park
Address: 288 NW Lindvig Way, Poulsbo
This 40-acre park provides great wildlife viewing opportunities along the dogfish creek and into the estuary at the end of Liberty Bay. Here you can see chum, coho, and cutthroat trout.

Erlands Point Preserve


Address: 2220 Erlands Point Rd NW, Bremerton
This 30-acre Kitsap County Park is located in the Chico Creek watershed. At this site you mainly see coho, chum, and the occasional beaver. This complex stream habitat is great for safe salmon rearing.

Chico Creek Mouth


Address: 4270 Kittyhawk Dr. NW, Bremerton
This site is a 3-acre estuary property where Chico Creek, the most productive salmon stream in Kitsap, flows into Dyes Inlet. You can find chum, coho, steelhead, and coastal cutthroat here.

Salmon Haven at Dickerson Creek
Address: Northlake Way NW and Taylor Road, Bremerton
Here lies the confluence of Chico Creek and Dickerson creek. You can expect to see mostly chum salmon.

Clear Creek Trail Ridgetop Pavilion
Address: 9228 Ridgetop Blvd., Silverdale
This site is located on Clear Creek. This creek’s estuary is at the end of Dyes Inlet. It provides salmon rearing habitat for chum, coho, cutthroat, and steelhead trout.
