Join us on a Dream celebrating Peninsula Dance Theatre’s 48th performance of “The Nutcracker.” The Nutcracker is a beautiful classical ballet celebrated around the world as a holiday tradition. Peninsula Dance Theatre’s Nutcracker is the longest running Nutcracker in Kitsap County. Peninsula Dance Theatre’s Nutcracker will be held at the Bremerton High School Performing Arts Center. All of the performers have been carefully selected from Peninsula Dance Theatre’s company and Bremerton Dance Center. Peninsula Dance Theatre is also very proud of its community connections, and due to the popularity of this show, PDT is able to include several members of the community to take part in the production. This is a masked event. All audience members will need wear a proper mask. Gaiters, scarves, bandanas, and vented masks are not acceptable as face masks.

As the music begins, prepare yourself for an enchanting adventure as Clara, who will be performed by the lovely Gabby Muller, and her handsome Nutcracker Prince, danced by Zachary Cisler, transcend through the swirling snowflakes to the magical Kingdom of Sweets. Performing the challenging role of Snow Queen, with razor-sharp technique, Elise Greenlee. MaryClare Gehring will elegantly grace the stage in the highly coveted role of Sugar Plum Fairy, alongside Brennan Rood as her Cavalier. Fritz, Clara’s mischievous little brother will be performed by Owain Stuart. Playing the role of Drosselmeyer, is a retired professional dancer from Richmond Ballet and Cincinnati Ballet, Jason Cisler. Jason, and his wife Nicole, are both dedicated to the art of dance, and are instructors at Bremerton Dance Center.
Begin your own family tradition and embrace the complete experience as the Peninsula Ballet Orchestra brings you Tchaikovsky’s score. Enjoy the sweet fantasy as lively ribbon candy, elegant Mirliton, sparkling Sugar Plums, coffee Arabian treats and spicy Spanish Chocolate entertain you.
