Community Day Hike: Kitsap Takes a Hike!

Join us for a walk in the park with your family and friends! 🌲 The 1 hour hike will include interactive activities such as naturalist bingo, walk and talk questions, prizes, and more! This community event is open to all at no cost. All abilities, identities, and ages are welcome. 🌿
When: May 7, 2022. Stop by any time between 10am-2pm!
Where: Newberry Hill Heritage Park, Silverdale. Parking will be available at Klahowya Secondary School.
What: A community event organized by Wild Society and Leadership Kitsap.
Who: All are welcome!
Cost: Free to all!

Activities include:
– Self guided 1 mile hike at Newberry Hill Heritage Park
– Interactive trail signs that will spark exploration and discussion
– Naturalist bingo
– Rock hunt with prizes
– Leaf rubbings and plant identification instruction
What to bring:
– Walking shoes
– Weather appropriate clothing (we will be out there rain or shine)
– Water bottle
