Kitsap’s Farmer’s Markets move indoor for winter!

Kitsap County has many fabulous farmer’s markets! Bainbridge, Poulsbo and Port Orchard host Saturday Markets , Kingston and Silverdale host Sunday Markets (Silv. also has Tuesday) and Bremerton has the lock on Thursday evening markets at Evergreen Park.

Even though most are closed for winter (Poulsbo and Bainbridge Island hold out through mid-December), there are still places to get fresh, fantastic food from local farms and gardens.

Make sure to check out and support all the markets when they open back up in early spring – there is a fresh, local market almost everyday of the week here in Kitsap County!

Winter 2021 update: Kitsap Grown is normally an excellent resource when the local markets are closed. Right now their year-round informational map on Kitsap County Local Farms may not be working @ Kitsap Grown – In lieu of that we suggest you try the WSU Kitsap Extension – they have excellent resources and a local food producer map.

Kitsap Fresh is another excellent, year-round resource. It brings the freshness of our local farmers straight to you! Every Saturday & Sunday, you can login to your online marketplace and select items to purchase from local farmers. Then meet at one of the distribution locations each Wednesday to pick up your order – or if you’re in North Kitsap, Silverdale, Bremerton or Bainbridge Island, you can select Home Delivery for Thursday!

Kitsap Grown is an excellent resource when the local markets are closed. For year-round information on Kitsap County Local Farms, check out their excellent resources and map @ Kitsap Grown – there are so many local meat & dairy farms! (and produce too of course!)
