The main access to DNR-68 is via Point No Point Lighthouse Park. DNR-68 begins just south of the lighthouse about where the saltwater marsh on the southwest side of the point ends and the wooded bluff begins. There is also an outlet to the saltwater marsh just north of the northern boundary of DNR-68. Parking is limited at the lighthouse and the site is very popular, especially in the summer. There is overflow parking available just off the road along the fence in front of Point No Point Resort. The resort is a short distance west of the lighthouse.
This beach can also be accessed from Point No Point County park. This beach can also be accessed from Point No Point County park. To reach Point No Point County Park coming north on Hansville Highway, look for the right turn onto Gus Halvor Road (about one mile south of Hansville). Take a right on Gus Halvor Road and follow it for about a half mile. The road ends where it intersects with Thors Road NE Take a left and follow Thors Road NE for about a quarter mile. The entrance to the park will be on the right. Parking is limited to a few cars, but there is much less public use at this site than at Point No Point Lighthouse Park. There is no vehicle access into the park. Use the trail through the park to reach the stairs that descend to the beach. The distance from the entrance to the stairs is about a half mile. DNR-69 is located just south of DNR-68. DNR-69 comprises nearly a linear half mile of beach. It is mostly sand flats with some pockets of gravel.
