Adaptive Learn to Surf Clinic – Newport, OR

Many believe that the ocean has the power to heal. Surfing waves is one form used to help people with mental and physical disabilities. AmpSurf is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to Promote, Inspire, Educate, and Rehabilitate (PIER) all people with disabilities and their families through adaptive surfing and other outdoor activities.

Join us for a great day at the beach sharing the healing power of Adaptive Surf Therapy and a memorial paddle out for Larry Bainum.

EVENT DETAILS:
• All participants must have a valid vaccine card or negative PCR test within 72 hours of the event.
• All clinics are FREE to participants (We do ask all participants to do a refundable deposit to hold their spot at the clinic).
• All necessary surfing gear included: surfboard, wetsuit, and rash guard (beach wheelchair also available).
• All clinics are closely supervised & each participant is assigned a certified AmpSurf Instructor and at least 1 water assistant.
• Participants should bring: swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, picture ID, snacks, and water. Lunch will be provided.
• Volunteers need to sign up as well.
• This year we will be honoring the memory of AmpSurf Pacific Northwest leader Larry Bainum with a memorial paddle out.
