Discovery Play Days in Silverdale

Discovery Play Days is a partnership of the Clear Creek Task Force, the Silverdale Library and naturalists from WSU Extension Kitsap’s Stream Stewards, Salmon Docents and Beach Naturalists. Discovery Play Days offers storytime, fun crafts and outdoor education for young children (3 to 10 years-old) and their parents or guardians.
Discovery Play Dates 2022
With Silverdale’s youth librarian, Miss Aleah, the Clear Creek Trails naturalists engage pre-teens with storytelling, songs and other eco-friendly educational activities. Discovery Play Days runs from 10am until noon.
June 29: Birds of Clear Creek at the Clear Creek Ridgetop Pavilion
July 20: Pond Dipping and Wetlands Wonders at the Clear Creek Barn
August 10: Low Tide Beach Walk at the Waterfront Park Shelter
October: Plant a Tree for the Pod along Clear Creek’s Riparian area
November: Salmon Tours at the Ridgetop Pavilion
